Story[]
Synopsis[]
Marooned on a desolate world where the sand moves suspiciously beneath the feet, and the imminent destruction of the planet is a real possibility, an old adversary waits to greet the Doctor and a creature longs to feed.
Continuity[]
- The Doctor demonstrates the TARDIS' ability to change its interior, a concept seen many times over the course of the TV series but never actually instigated by the Doctor on screen.
- Alice takes a picture of the Doctor and Chand in the desert insisting they say 'Reverse the Polarity of the Neutron Flow' as both a gibe at the Doctor and a reference to the near-catchphrase of the Third Doctor
