The Time Agency is a British Science-Fiction fantasy television series created by Daniel Benbow and produced by DBGNIHD Studios for Day and Night Productions. It will premiere in late 2020 (or 2021, based on the Coronavirus epidemic).
The series follows the exploits of a group operating in the Time Agency, an organisation that protects the timeline in places The Doctor cannot reach.
It is a part of Day and Night Productions' Shared Universe, crossing over with other shows in the Universe: Doctor Who and others being planned in the future, such as a potential Torchwood series.
Premise[]
Police Officer James Phillips is taken out of time to join the Time Agency, an organisation that aims to fix and protect the timeline. Together, with 19th Century scientist, Amelia Nocturne and historian from 2243, Richard Travess, they are tasked to correct aberrations in history.
In Season One, The Time Agency deals with anomalies appearing outside of their timezone, with the agents being tasked with sending them back to their own time. The Agency has to stop the mysterious, Time Industry from corrupting the timeline.
In Season Two, the "Edge of Time" arc, the Time Agents have to deal with the oncoming arrival of a mysterious force which aims to mark the year 2021 as the end of time, hereby, erasing all of history from that point, in order to create a new timeline and history to the benefit of dangerous and powerful enemies from future wars and conflicts.
