The Star Doctor Adventures, is a series of fan produced audio dramas based on the long-running British science fiction television series Doctor Who. The series is created by Time Siren Productions, and stars Star Craib-Leete as The Star Doctor, alongside Sock Hembrow as companion Ellie Brookes.
The first episode, titled Asleep, was first uploaded to YouTube in February 2023, it is a prose story presented in an audiobook format, but from the second episode onwards the series changed to an audio drama format. Alongside the main Star Doctor episodes are a series of short audiobooks called "Side Steps", these are similar in style to Big Finishes Short Trips.
Alongside The Star Doctor Adventures there is a sister series known as the Multiverse Specials, these stories as set between episodes 3 and 4 of the main series. At the end of episode 3, Holding Out For A Hero, The Doctor and Ellie were thrown into the Multiverse, setting up a series of specials where they will meet other fan Doctors. In the first wave of specials they will meet The Goblin Doctor, The Groovy Doctor and The Blonde Doctor (Doctor Who Expansive Multiverse) of What Fourth Wall, The Fairytale Doctor of Instability Productions, and The Yth Doctor of Man-At-Desk Productions. It's worth noting that Blonde, Fairytale and Yth are all played by the same actor, George Guidera.
The theme for the series was composed by Jed Rhodes, who has been apart of many other Doctor Who fan productions, including playing two different Doctors, the Nth Doctor and The Groovy Doctor, as part of Lungbarrow Brothers Productions and Doctor Who Expansive Multiverse respectively.
