The Cosmic Plot of Doctor Hu was the first story of Season 28 in The Doctor Who Project series. It was written by Misha Lauenstein, released 1999, and featured the TDWP 8th Doctor, and Tamara Scott.

Synopsis[]
Tamara Scott has been invited to a party - a strange party - by a man she's never met. He promises a weekend of fun, games and food. It seems like a good idea at the time, but Tamara soon comes to realize that the party's benefactor, the mysterious Dr. Hu, may have some secrets that he wants to keep hidden.

- After materialising inside a garden maze, The Doctor meets Tamara Scott.
- Doctor Hu is The Celestial Toymaker
- The Seventh Doctor encountered The Celestial Toymaker whilst travelling with Ace.
- Ace stayed in The Toymaker's domain as part of a plan to defeat him. She becomes The Toymaker’s protégé and uses the alias ‘Dot’. However, The Toymaker erased the Doctor’s memory and it took 10 years for him to return (in this story as the eight Doctor) to complete the plan.
- After spending a further decade in the Toymakers domain, this time with The Doctor, Ace develops the same powers as The Toymaker. After defeating him she stays in his world.
