Portrayed by: George Guidera

Series: Overton Audios Doctor Who

The Blonde Doctor is an incarnation of the Time Lord played by George Guidera as part of the PRISM Universe.

Guidera originally played The Blonde Doctor as part of DW2012, but after the DW2012 split he took the character over to Overton Audios and Doctor Who Expansive Multiverse/What Fourth Wall Productions. These fan productions don't share continuity, so Guidera essentially plays two Blonde Doctors from different universes.

Character[]

Like the Blonde Doctor of WFW, the Prism Blonde Doctor is filled with self-loathing and lacks confidence in himself and his abilities. This culminates in a desire to no longer exist, and to not regenerate. This remains until his regeneration in Cardiff in the minisode "One Last Sunrise".

In comparison to his WFW-self, he is written to be more insensitive and quicker to anger.

History[]

This Doctor is first seen on Overton Audios in the story "The Crimson Hunter: Object Two" where he inadvertently ends up in his own personal future and meets Julia Breslin. We are told in "The Spirit of Christmas" that he and Charley had previously parted company after an adventure with the Wirrn.

Immediately following the events of "Defense Against The Daleks", the Blonde Doctor ends up meeting his Eighth incarnation and Charley Pollard in "Return of The Palaxyians". Subsequent to this, he is brought into the events surrounding the Prism 60th Anniversary story, "The Conqueror of Time", where he joins forces with The Northern Doctor to find a segment of the Key to Time.

After the climactic events of the 60th, the Blonde Doctor returns to Charley Challis in "The Spirit of Christmas", aiming to check on her. Upon facing & defeating the Krampus, whilst also saving Charley's younger brother, the two old friends decide to begin travelling together again.

Some time afterwards, the Blonde Doctor runs into The Philosophical Doctor in "Poignant as Grief". The two incarnations embrace one another, and Blonde admits to his future self that he did his best.

In "One Last Sunrise", which is set much, much later in his lifetime, the Blonde Doctor is thrown out of the rift in Cardiff. Mortally wounded, on the verge of regenerating, he reflects upon his self-loathing and regrets the absence of Charley.

Appearance[]

The Prism Blonde Doctor is functionally identical to the Blonde Doctor of DW2012/WFW - brown or white waistcoat, tie, black jackets.

In his regeneration story, his outfit is very dishevelled due to his tumultuous journey.
