Nicholas Briggs portrayed his own incarnation of the Doctor in the Audio Visuals series of audio plays. He went on to have a lengthy involvement with the official Doctor Who franchise through BBV Productions and Big Finish Productions as well as providing the voices of Daleks and Cybermen in the BBC Wales TV series.
