Doctor Who: Resurrection is a series of fan produced audio dramas based on the long-running British science fiction television series Doctor Who.
The series is made by Overton Audios with the majority of episodes written by Connor Chadwick, who also stars as The Doctor. Alongside Resurrection, Overton Audios has produced a number of Doctor Who audio series, as well as sharing continuity with these, Resurrection also exists in the same universe as the fan films from, Fractured Timeline and NTC Pictures.
The first episodes of Resurrection, titled Two of a Kind, was first uploaded to YouTube on November 23, 2016, the series then transferred to Soundcloud only in 2018, before going to both Soundcloud and YouTube in 2019.

Season 1[]
Season 1, which had 8 stories, was originally released to YouTube between November 23, 2016 to June 30, 2018.
The episodes, when originally released, were released in 3 6-8 minute-parts to emulate Big Finish. After the original uploads and after Season 2 had finished, the episodes were then cut into full stories and released back onto YouTube between January and February 2019. Along with the reuploads, the first season gained the "Doctor Who: Resurrection" title which the second season and all onwards had.
This series sees The Parallel Doctor travel with James Carpenter, Henry Woodman and Julia Breslin.

Season 2, which had 13 stories, was originally released to Soundcloud between October 7, 2018 to December 22, 2018, with a Christmas Special following the series, released on December 25, 2018.
The episodes were originally released to Soundcloud before they were released onto YouTube between February 2019 and March 2019.
This series sees The Parallel Doctor change into The Cravat Doctor and travel with Henry Woodman, Julia Breslin and Roxy Taylor. James Carpenter briefly returned in "Rebirth of the Cybermen", whilst Henry Woodman departed in "Blackout".

Season 3[]
Season 3, which had 13 stories, beginning with 3 specials released in May and July 2019. The series was split into two storylines, beginning with "The Dalek Federation" arc which the episodes released in September 2019. After a month's break, the series returned with "Trial of Veritas", which the episodes released in November 2019.
This series sees The Cravat Doctor and travel with Julia Breslin and Roxy Taylor, before Roxy departs in "Marriage and Murder", James Carpenter returned in "The Lost Survivors" before departing in "Last Chance". Julia departed in "Things Die".

Season 4 Special: Transcendence[]
In between the release of Season 3 and Season 4, a three part special entitled 'Transcendence' was released during April 2020.
This saw The Cravat Doctor unite with his older selves, "The Young Doctor" and "The Irish Doctor", along with their companions Hazel Anderson and Nathan Chase against three incarnations of the Master, played by John N. Harper, Callum Baird and Kerian Twine. It also had appearances from The Northern Doctor, The First Doctor, The Ninth Doctor and The Tenth Doctor.

The Cravat Doctor and The Rani[]
After a two year absence, the main series range returned in "The Cravat Doctor and The Rani", which marked the beginning of the series being made into volumes, instead of full seasons. This volume, with three stories making up the whole volume, was released in April 2022.
This volume saw The Cravat Doctor team up with The Rani (who had been under the guise of "Rebecca Martins" as of the events of the Fractured Timeline episode, "The Candidate") throughout the whole of the volume.

Earthbound[]
The main series returned 8 months afterwards with another volume, this time with 2 stories with 2 parts. This volume was released in December 2022, with the two episodes of "Cryonics" releasing on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, 2022.
This volume saw The Cravat Doctor stuck on Earth, whilst previous one-off companions Professor Phoebe Chaddie and her father, Patrick Chaddie occupied the companion roles as they did in the Season 4 episode, "The Hidden Race".

Between 2021 and 2023, the Resurrection series also released 8 audiobooks, which entitled adventures between certain periods of time in the series. The first released in the summer of 2021, the second released in December 2021 and the final volume released in February 2023.
