Degeneration is the 10th episode of Time and Space Season 2, and the 2nd part in the 2 part season finale.
Story[]
"Goodbye Doctor"
(Zack)
Continuing on from the previous episode, the Master now posses control over Zack's body. He turns to the a Doctor and tells him that he will kill him, instead of the usual rule the world.
The Doctor is taken to his holding cell and realises what he has to do.
The Master reunites with his tardis and is informed it is time for the Doctor to die.
Outside the base, David appears with the time travelling device and discovers that the Doctor is being held prisoner. he vouches that he will save the Doctor one last time. David then enters the base and kills many guards. He eventually finds the Doctor, but is stopped by the Master. But then the tardis fights back and the Doctor places the Master's conscience into his own. With Zack unconsciecse, the Doctor and David return him home so that he is free of the burden of time. The Doctor says his goodbyes to David, who then travels away to his destiny.
The Doctor, inside the tardis, realises it is time and bursts out energy, he is regenerating. When he finished he notices he looks like Zack. He also realises that the tardis is crashing. So he acknowledges what is happening and continues to stop it.

- This episode marks the return of both the Master and David Ranch
- The Doctor regenerates into Zack, taking note that he knew he would look like him as he met his future self in Season 1.
