No production of Doctor Who is without the stories that could have been. For various reasons, these stories have been nixed or put on hold. Maybe we might reappraise them later, maybe not. But here's a sneak peek.
The Mathew Urch Doctor[]
The Price of Peace[]
3 Episodes
Written by Alexander Bright
After the events of the previous story, Zacharias has been found out and is an unwilling member of the TARDIS crew. The Doctor has decided to take them to a pleasure planet (Benelux), only to find an irradiated wasteland decimated by a nuclear holocaust. However, the TARDIS - working perfectly well - tells them they've arrived at the correct destination. What's going on here? Has time been tampered with? It's up to the Doctor and his friends to find out... that is, if the crazed computer and its adherent machines don't decimate them first.
A script for Episode One was received and still exists on the producer's hard drive.
The Seduction of Death[]
4 Episodes
Written by James P. Quick
Having dropped Whitney off to visit her family in Chicago, the Doctor accidentally causes the TARDIS to make a spatial hop across to Detroit. The system is fried and both he and Zacharias take refuge in a sleazy motel. Only something's in there with them... Something blonde, buxom, and very hungry - a succubus. What's worse, she wants the Doctor!
