- John Messenger plays The Master, this marks the first time in a Sci-fi Cruise film that a TV role was recast, however due to The Master being a Time lord this can just be considered a regeneration we have never seen before.
- Its unknown which doctor took Susan to the Cruise. It could be the Seventh Doctor, as the tardis used is the same as in The Crystal Conundrum (2004). But it also could be his Eight incarnation or later as he reunited with Susan in An Earthly Child.
